(Tune: Jesus, And Shall It Ever Be  #400 LM)

<CENTER>We bow before Your throne of grace

To offer prayer and give our praise.

God, gather in Your own elect

As we cast out the gospel net.

Proud sinners never can submit

To cast themselves at Jesus' feet.

Man scorns imputed righteousness

And God's free, saving, sov'reign grace.

The creature lifts his haughty eyes,

Says, "How can God my works despise?"

Man and his fig leaves cannot part,

`Til God, by grace, invades his heart.

O Holy Spirit, come this hour

With grace, by Your almighty pow'r

Invade the hearts of chosen souls,

Sprinkle Christ's blood, and make them whole!

Salvation is not by man's will,

Nor by his work, but by God's will!

And sinners saved by sov'reign grace

To God alone will give their praise!
