When I am weak, then I am strong.

Jehovah is my song.

Christ is my Shield and my Defense.

My trust is Christ alone!

Though Satan and the hosts of hell

Against my soul engage,

I look to Christ, my Savior still,

And smile at Satan’s rage.

My God has promised in His Word

(And to His Word He’s true!)

To keep me by almighty grace,

And that my God will do!

Faithful and true, my God is good!

I’ve proved His promise sure.

Because He’s gracious, wise, and just,

This sinner is secure!
