We Glory In The Cross Don Fortner

1. Christ crucified we will proclaim. We glory in the cross;

And, gladly, to be found in Him, We count all things but loss.

Each ransomed soul, when called by grace, With joy receives the word.

Believing, we find life and peace In Christ our dying Lord!

2. When Jesus died, we died in Him; And justice satisfied

Declares that all who died in Him Are fully justified!

Our sins He bore, and bore away, When in our place He died;

And all whose sins He took away In Him are sanctified!

3. Redeemed, forgiven, God’s elect, The ransomed of the Lord,

Are made complete, and they shall sit In Glory with their Lord!

Not one of all the chosen hosts Shall fail to reach God’s throne.

Nor can a ransomed soul be lost, ‘Til God gives up His throne!
