How blessed, blessed is the place

When Jesus Christ, our God,

Reveals His glory and His grace,

And sheds His love abroad!

Here, on His throne, the mercy-seat,

Emmanuel, God’s Son,

Has promised He will sinners meet,

And make His goodness known.

Oh, thank You, Lord, for such a place,

The church, Your blest abode,

Where sinners saved by sovereign grace,

Together worship God!
