If God begins His work of grace

In any sinner's heart,

That sinner He will keep secure -

From Christ he can't depart.

The objects of eternal love

Shall persevere, I know

Chosen, redeemed, and called by grace,

God will not let them go.

Frustrated, grace can never be:

Christ did not die in vain!

All those for whom He shed His blood

Eternal life must gain!

Who can condemn the blood-bought soul,

Or charge God's own with sin?

In Christ we're freely justified.

With Him we'll ever reign!

Grace shall complete what grace began -

All glory to the Lord!

Eternally we'll shout His praise -

"Salvation's of the Lord!"
