Though lost, religious men may brawl

Against the grace of God,

Declaring that God's saints may fall,

Though purchased by Christ's blood –

We know that none of God's elect

Shall lose His gift of faith,

Or to their wicked will be left

To sin the sin of death!

Not one believer can be lost

For whom the Savior prays,

Nor satan rob the Holy Ghost

Of any sealed in grace.

Each child of God, without a doubt,

Is kept in Christ secure.

Though tempted, tried, and tossed about,

He shall by grace endure.

Chosen, redeemed, and called by grace,

Every believer shall

In heaven's glory take his place

And o'er all foes prevail!
