The Unrighteous Shall Not Inherit The Kingdom of God
Let
all who dare justify themselves or others in sin hear the Word of
God. It is written, “The unrighteous
shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor
idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with
mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor
extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God..” Believers justify God, not themselves (Psa. 51:5). Those who
find a cloak for sin and attempt to excuse it (in themselves or in others), by
pointing to the revealed sins of God’s saints (Lot,
David, Peter), wrest the Scriptures to their own condemnation. You will never
find a believer excusing his transgressions, calling his sins “mistakes,” or
attempting to blame another for his guilt. Only wilfully deceived, reprobate
religionists try to use grace as an excuse for licentiousness. Believing men
and women confess and acknowledge their sin. Those who cover their sins shall
have them uncovered by God. Those who uncover (confess) their sins before God,
have them covered by the blood of Christ (Pro. 28:13; 1 John 1:9).
