Christ - The Second Person Of The Holy Trinity
I John 5:7
Errors concerning the
Trinity and the distinct personality and Godhead of our Lord Jesus Christ are
abundant. And where there is error regarding the Person of Christ error
regarding his work will follow. We must be clear in our understanding. JESUS
CHRIST IS GOD THE SON, THE SECOND PERSON OF THE HOLY TRINITY.All true be-
lievers are Trinitarians. "There are three that bear record in heaven, the
Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." Can
language be more specifically clear? This is the doctrine of the Bible. There
is only one true and living God. "Hear, O Israel, the Lord thy God is one
LORD" (Deut. 6:4). This one God subsists in three separate and distinct Persons,
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is not
the Son nor the Spirit. The Son is not the Father nor
the Spirit. The Spirit is not the Son nor the Father.
But the three divine Persons in the Trinity are one God, in every way, at all
times, and in all things perfectly equal.
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS
GOD THE ETERNAL SON, THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER (John
