act 15v22 A MAN AFTER
MINE OWN HEART
"A MAN AFTER MINE OWN HEART"
Acts
David was a rare man indeed. He was both
wise and mighty, kind and courageous. But what was there in David that
caused the God of heaven to give him this singular distinction? "The Lord
looketh on the heart." And when God looked upon David's heart he said that
he was "A Man After Mine Own Heart". What
did God see in David's heart?
1.He
saw a heart Broken Over Sin.
2.He
saw a heart Humbled Because of Sin.
3.He
saw a heart Ready to Fully Confess Its Sin.
4.He
saw a heart of Complete Faith and Trust in Christ.
5.He
saw a heart full of Sincere Love for Christ.
What does the Lord see when he looks upon your heart and
mine? "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me
in the way everlasting."
