mat 11v30 My Yoke Is Easy

Matthew 11:30

As the oxen have their master's yoke upon them, so that they are guided and directed by their master to do his will, so the believer has the yoke of his Master upon him. But our Master's yoke is easy. Every be1ieving heart willingly takes it upon himself. Faith in Christ causes men and women to willingly become his slaves. It is our delight to serve him. Our hearts ache, not because he is our Lord and we are his servants but because we cannot serve him as we would. A person who is saved by the grace of God does not need to be told that he is under solemn obligations to serve Christ. The new life within tells you that! You do not need a pastor to preach up certain duties and preach down certain sins. You simply need a pastor to point to your Beloved Savior and King, in whose will you delight. It is no burden to the believing heart to be under Christ's yoke. His yoke is easy and pleasant. He who believes gladly surrenders himself to Christ, his Master, instinctively. As soon as a sinner sees the glory and grace of Christ by faith, he willingly submits to him, saying - "All to Jesus I surrender, humbly at His feet I bow; worldly pleasures all forsaken, take me, Jesus, take me now."
